"Ampersand Art Supply's Museum Series Scratchbord is made from our premium warp-resistant 1/8" profile FSC-Certified Hardbord that is sealed and protected with our proprietary Archiva-Seal and coated with an ultra-smooth, highly absorbent acid-free kaolin clay ground with India ink. Scratchbord is easier to scratch into for clean, crisp details and lines and unlike paper scratch boards, will not rip, tear, bend, or wrinkle. For added dimension, colored inks can be added to the white areas and then scratched again for additional highlights and volume.
