The 30 gram piece is approximately 3.5 feet in one continuous ribbon length. For macraweaving, the length is often split down the middle which doubles the length. And for felting it is best to tear into 3 or 4 long lengths in order to get thin tufts of wool roving for layering.
• For Felting: This extra fine merino wool roving is wonderful to work with in felting. Using long narrow strips of roving, you can tear off thin and even tufts of wool that will intermingle well with each other and result in a nice strong felt.

The roving will be packaged in an airtight bag and should be allowed to expand before using.
