Description
- 3/16" wide flat oval reed in a 1 pound coil. Approximately 480 feet of weaving material for basket weaving, wicker repair, and craft projects.
- Made from peeled inner rattan core, a natural wicker material used for basket weaving, wicker furniture repair, and other weaving projects. The reed can be painted or stained to match your project.
- Soak the reed in warm water before weaving for better flexibility. This makes the reed easier to bend for wrapping, weaving, and shaping.
- Commonly used for basket weaving, wicker furniture repair, wrapping, edging, and other wicker weaving applications.
- The coil contains multiple reed lengths rather than one continuous piece. This is a natural characteristic of rattan, as reed length is limited by the original cane used to produce the material.
