• A6 COTTON RAG PAPER - Our A6 rag paper packs contain 35 sheets of 100% cotton watercolour paper, each sheet individually handmade, featuring deckled edges, with natural variations in texture, size, and shape between each sheet.
• 500GSM MID TEXTURED SURFACE - A heavyweight 500gsm paper with a mid-surface texture, suitable for watercolour and all painting uses, as well as all dry and soft media - for oil painting, the surface will need to be prepared with gesso.
• ARTS AND CRAFTS APPLICATIONS - Our cotton paper is also fantastic for various other arts and crafts applications such as unique wedding stationary, greeting cards and bookbinding. A wonderfully versatile and unique paper.
• COTTON RAG PAPER PACKS - Our 500gsm mid texture cotton rag paper packs are available a variety of sizes. Packs come in A4 (15 sheets), A5 (25 sheets) and A6 (35 sheets).
• HANDMADE/100% RECYCLED/ACID FREE - Made by local artisans in Northern India from 100% recycled cotton, using traditional paper-making methods; the packs come wrapped in recycled kraft paper. The paper is also 100% acid free.

Artway 100% handmade Cotton-Rag paper is entirely unique in tone and grain, made from 100% cotton rag this extra heavy 500gsm mid textured paper is naturally tough providing durability, structure and support for many different applications. The stiff board feel to this paper makes it highly suitable for watercolour and other painting techniques as well as a range of dry and soft media - for oil painting, the surface will need to be prepared with gesso. Created entirely by local artisans in Northern India using traditional paper-making methods. Available in A4, A5 and A6 sizes (natural variations in paper size and shape will occur between sheets due to the handmade nature of the product). Each Artway Indigo Handmade Cotton-Rag Paper pack is wrapped in a recycled kraft paper covering to protect external surfaces. It is also 100% acid-free with a neutral pH and internally gelatine sized. Being handmade results in a paper with no real discernible grain direction. Some extremely faint marks might be discernible on one side of the paper (imprinted from the screen mesh) however there is no front and back to the surfaces.
