This Early 1920s Long Waisted Dress Sewing Pattern was originally released by The Superior Pattern Co On the original packaging, the pattern was described as a "Long-waisted dress, with vest and closing at left side-front. Straight-gathered skirt in one-piece". 2 variations of the dress can be produced using this pattern set. This pattern set was designed to fit the size and shape of a 1920s woman with 36 bust, 28 waist and 39 hips. This is the only size offered for this package. The common colors for garments like this were brown, tan, Copenhagen blue, scarlet, navy, kelly and silver grey. This Flapper era package has a copy of the original artwork, a sizing chart and written direction on the front cover. On the back cover are pattern icon notes, a pattern layout diagram and a material requirements chart. Inside the booklet are historical notes on the paper pattern industry from the era.
