Coming to exposure, wood becomes a deeper eggplant purple. The grains of wood is straight, and can be irregular or wavy. It has a medium texture with good luster. Purple Heart has its usage at Inlays/accent pieces, flooring, furniture, boatbuilding, heavy construction, and a variety of specialty wood items.
