Beginning with the large tassled Buddha bead (which isn't counted), circle the mala until the Buddha bead is reached again. The next set is counted in reverse order. The beads of this sandalwood mala are made from exceptionally high quality wood with a fine, pure fragrance. Sandalwood has been used for thousands of years in devotional rituals and for decoration.
