If mold release is not available, rubbing baby oil into the mold cavities is an affordable and equally effective alternative. Be sure to use epoxy resin intended for casting/jewelry making. Avoid table-top resins as these are known to overheat and damage silicone molds. Do not use a torch or excessive heat
