This 120-pack of PET wax melt clamshell molds from North Mountain Supply is made from BPA-free plasticthe same material used in soda bottles and a more environmentally friendly option than PVC. These clamshells offer excellent clarity and structure for both functional and decorative applications.
Each clamshell features six cavities and holds approximately 2.4 ounces of wax. Suitable for candle wax melts, chocolates, soaps, or other DIY projects. Recommended pour temperature is 140F to 150F. Do not exceed 160F. If pouring above 150F, test one clamshell first to ensure the plastic maintains its shape. These molds can be reused, though repeated high-temperature use may reduce durability. Each unit measures 4.375 x 2.9 x 1 inches when closed.
