Tibetan Singing Bowls are also known as "Rin Gongs" or "Suzu Gongs." These beautiful bowls are ideal for use in prayer and meditation. When struck with the wooden ringer they produce a clean, clear and penetrating tone. With a little mastery of the bowl, then can also be used to produce a continuous 'singing' by moving the ringer around the outside of the bowl's rim, similar to playing a wine glass. Playing the Tibetan Singing Bowls usually causes an immediate centering effect. The tones set up a "frequency following response" that creates a balancing left/right brain synchronization.
